Alabaster Interior Designer

Alabaster is a suburb of Birmingham, and is recorded as the 16th largest city in Alabama by number of residents. The city is named after a “white calcium carbonate mineral” which was mined in the area by George L. Scott – owner of Alabaster Lime Co.

Alabaster City Schools System – The Alabaster City Schools System officially separated from the Shelby County Schools system in 2013 and serves approximately 6 thousand students between two elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school and one high school.

Alabaster Arts Council– The Alabaster Arts Council has a mission to enrich the quality of life for residents in the Alabaster community through various arts and art education and events. Every year, the council hosts both free and ticketed events showcasing arts, concert artists, and more.

Limestone Park – City of Alabaster – The interesting combination of wetlands, grasslands and tupelo gum wetlands in Limestone Park is perfect for bird lovers to see a variety of wading birds, swamp and marsh birds, grassland birds and some winter waterfowl. The City of Alabaster and Birmingham Audubon have built an accessible birdwatching area overlooking the wetlands on the northwest side of the park, with adjacent parking for everyone.
